Information collected and purpose

To improve the service, we store the Base64 operation type (encode / decode) and the content you enter — specifically the plain-text side. The conversion itself is processed in your browser.

Please do not enter secrets such as passwords or private keys.

Which page records input

The Base64 converter on the home page is the only page that records what you enter. The income threshold simulator, the price pages, the radius search and everything else send nothing: their calculations and lookups happen entirely inside your browser.

What is recorded is stored in Cloudflare D1 (a database). There is no automatic deletion after a set retention period.

Location data

Municipalities Within a Radius can read your current position through the browser's Geolocation API. That happens only if you press “Get my location” and grant permission in the browser's own dialog, and the resulting coordinates are used only inside that page. They are never sent to this site's servers and never stored.

The distance calculation and sorting also run entirely in the browser. Location permission can be revoked at any time in your browser settings; without it, searching by municipality name gives the same result. Note that the link produced by “Copy link to these settings” does contain the coordinates, so take care when sharing it.

Photographs

Any image you choose in ID Photo Maker is processed entirely inside your browser. Reading the file, detecting the face, cropping, editing and saving all happen on that page; nothing is sent to this site's servers and nothing is stored. The same applies to the camera capture: the video never leaves the browser.

The AI model files used for that processing are, however, fetched from outside. The library comes from the jsDelivr CDN and the trained models from Google's public storage, downloaded after the page opens. Those requests tell the other party only that a file was requested, along with the IP address and browser details that any request carries; your photograph is not part of them. The downloaded files are kept in the browser cache and can be cleared from your browser settings.

Images loaded from elsewhere

The channel icons shown inside the bubbles on the VSPO! Collaboration Map are not copied to this site; your browser loads them straight from YouTube's image host (yt3.googleusercontent.com). Those requests tell the other party only that an image was requested, along with the IP address and browser details that any request carries. Nothing from that exchange reaches this site.

Sharing with third parties

The stored conversion data (direction and plain-text side) is never provided or sold to third parties.

Advertising

Google AdSense: Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out via Google Ad Settings (details in Google's policies).

A-ADS (Anonymous Ads): served in an iframe. As a rule it does not track users with cookies, but when an ad loads your IP address and browser type may be sent to the ad provider.

Amazon Associates Programme: this site participates in affiliate programmes including Amazon.co.jp. Some pages, such as the Japanese-only 米の価格 銘柄別一覧, link to Amazon, and we may earn a referral fee when a purchase is made through those links. Following such a link lets Amazon set cookies to record which site the visit came from. We never receive your purchase details or personal information.

Analytics

Google Analytics (GA4): used to see how many people visit and which pages they read. Google uses cookies to collect the pages you view, the referring site, your approximate region and your device and browser type. We do not send information that directly identifies you, such as your name or address. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (details in Google's policies and terms).

Cloudflare Web Analytics: used on some pages to measure load speed and page views. It does not use cookies and does not track individual visitors.

Cookies

This site sets exactly one cookie of its own, lang, which remembers your display language. It is written when a non-Japanese browser is routed to the English pages, and when the language link is used to choose Japanese, so that the same redirect does not repeat on later visits. It is not used to identify anyone. Separately, Google AdSense, Google Analytics and Amazon Associates may set cookies of their own for the purposes described above.

Cookies can be deleted or refused at any time in your browser settings. For advertising and analytics, the opt-out links above also apply.

You may request disclosure, correction or deletion of recorded input. Write to the address below; requests are handled as far as the recorded data can be identified as yours.
